Easy replacement
This switch was a direct replacement for an 11-year-old unit that had failed. It works fine, but it was a little confusing to install because the wiring diagram printed on the side of the old unit had a pair of wires swapped from the diagram on the new unit. So I installed the new unit with the updated wiring, but it didn't work. I switched the wires back to their old pattern and it did work. I haven't bothered to figure out which diagram was right.
